What a terrible rule. Bama false starts and the clock runs again after the penalty. That's a rule that clearly needs to change.

I don't ever listen. I've heard it on the drive home sometimes with nothing else to listen to. I just love some of those folks.

I think that false start penalty was part of Saban's genious with a little showmanship as well. Saban feigned being upset, but I think he knew the rule that the clock would continue to run if the penalty was accepted. He wanted Arkansas to accept the penalty. Saban just owned the hell out of Beliema there.

Fox Sports reported the university and police tampered with the rape investigation.

He's also been notified of a school disciplinary hearing for code of conduct violation connected with the alleged assault.

Saw an SI article saying his best legal option might be to drop out of school because the way that disciplinary hearing is set up could create some problems for him if he winds up being charged down the road.

Wow Florida had first and goal on the 2, then third and goal, and the wide open tight end drops an easy pass right in his hands in the end zone.

Had to settle for the field goal to tie and now LSU has time to go down field and win.

Despite how U-G-L-Y the win over Arkansas was, I was encouraged by the performance of the defensive front. Arkansas went into the game averaging over 300 yards rushing. Bama allowed only 90. And down the stretch, they got pressure on the Arkansas QB. So, that is a positive.

Offense was just....................................bleh

Michigan State holds on against a bad Purdue team. It will go down as an ugly win. Alabama hangs on against an awful Arkansas team and it will be viewed as a gritty road win.

So here is my new top 4 teams:

1) Miss St.
2) Ole Miss.
3) FSU
4) Notre Dame

Baylor just out of the top 4 but will get in next week after the FSU/Notre Dame game if they beat the Mountaineers, which is my upset special for next weekend by the way. I know ND gave up a bunch of points to UNC, but I think they were looking ahead to Saturday.
