The ACC's 2nd best team is Duke... Duke. That's why folks think Oregon is a better team. Although I don't know why you'd put Oregon over Bama after tonight. Anyway... here's my top 4.

1) FSU
2) Bama
3) Oregon
4) MSU

I think it's pointless to keep Miss State in the discussion because they aren't going to make it. They are firmly out of the discussion now barring an Alabama collapse to close out the season.

I told you I thought they'd be ranked #1 by end of the year. I mean I just don't think Oregon and Bama have seperated themselves from FSU. If I felt that way then I'd rank FSU below those 2 one loss teams. But both Oregon and Bama have flaws.

Noles still have what has been traditionally their toughest games. UM and UF
To many Wide rights for me to just put tonight in the win column

Too much bad blood
but appreciate your confidence

I couldn't disagree more. Their one loss is on the road against Bama. Bama is the best home team in the country by far.

They beat Ole Miss and they are in. What one loss team outside of Bama and Oregon is obviously better in your eyes?

They won't even make their conference title game in this scenario. TCU is better than MSU south and so is Ohio State.

I think Winston is the best player in college football, but I would give it to Mariota over Winston because of the fact that Winston's stupid decision nearly cost his team a chance at the playoffs. The fact is that Winston didn't play vs Clemson and they almost lost because of it. That's not a heisman winner in my book.

I also don't think you can rule out Blake Sims. He's been awfully good for Bama.

If Ohio State can have enough things go right for them, Barrett has to be in the Heisman talk. Kid is unreal.

Anyone that watches him knows hes not a great player, much less a heisman winner

Lmao, this is the first game you've probably watched from him.

Would you like me to line up the #s again compared to past Heisman winners? Somehow stats don't matter to you I guess.

At no time did I say he was better than Mariotta. In fact I constantly said based on stats alone Mariotta should win. But Prescott was a shoe in provided MSU won out. Obviously they lost.

TCU about lost to Kansas after almost losing to and really should have lost to WVU. Ohio St. has a much worse loss than Miss St. Could care less about the conference title games. SEC west is the best division in the history of football. Arguably every single team in that conference is a top 25 team. LSU beat the 2nd best team in the Big Ten. LSU is at best the 4th best team in the SEC West.

all I will say is I never thought Prescott belonged in the conversation. Nice kid and a good runner but in 2014 a QB has to be able to throw effectively because good teams know how to not let Tebow or Tebow clones beat them

His numbers vs fCS schools were good

OSU lost to VT. I dont see them having a chance in hell. As long as TCU, Bama, FSU, and Oregon win out, then I expect that to be your playoff.

Wow.. I mean I don't want to look at that Golic photo but at the same time it's like wanting to look at a car wreck.

I'd argue none of them can score the ball and not because the defenses are that tough. Just not enough skill players to travel well.

For example, the Cooper kid at Alabama is arguably the best skill player in the conference --- look at the number of drops (unforced errors) he's had the past 2-3 weeks. And I still say, after living in Fla for 40 years, there isn't one QB in the SEC West that is an impact player.
Outside of the incestuous SEC

LSU did not beat the second best team in the Big Ten. About lost isn't the same as a loss and you know that. You are smart and know your college football, but should haves and almost lost means nothing. Yes it's the best division in football. It's about the best four teams in December and yes Ohio State has a bad loss months ago and have been excellent since. Keep in mind they started a quarterback who hadn't played football in two years.

Well either way Wisconsin is at worst the third best team in the Big Ten. The problem with your argument is that Miss St. and TCU both have one loss. TCU's loss is against Baylor who is not in the top 4 and Miss St. loss is against Bama who is in the top 4. So, considering that wouldn't you rank Miss St. above TCU?

I just don't see why TCU should be ranked ahead of MSU. In fact I'd be surprised if Miss St. isn't ranked 4th.

So what I said last week for the four playoff teams.

Ohio State is clicking right now. There are teams ahead of them that can and will lose. As long as Ohio State takes care of business they are in the discussion.
