Rush defense is obviously playing well, which is no surprise. Didn't like the defense right before the half before the interception. Coach Saban obviously didn't either. On offense, was getting a bit frustrated at Kiffin's play calling for a while. Coker is playing well. Henry got 13 carries and as I expected, MSU's defense was tough on him. But in the last couple of games, Henry was pounding the defense late. I look for around 20-25 carries in the second half for Henry. Hopefully, that will wear out the defense of the Spartans. And keep the pressure coming on Cook.
 
Really bad call on the Ridley TD. I understand it's a really close call. But the point is that it has to be indisputable in order to overturn it. I think it's pretty clear that ball was moving and there certainly was no indisputable evidence.
 
Not blaming the referees at all. I understand Alabama has more talent and a far superior coaching staff, but there is much holding on Alabama's offensive line. Specifically on Calhoun. He blasted through on the Coker long pass and was tackled exactly where Coker rolled out to.

I get it. You can call holding on every play, but these are blatant missed calls.
 
I've seen 2 really bad calls from the refs so far and 1 bad no call. And all 3 three have gone against MSU. That being said, those calls/no calls haven't really had an affect on MSU's inability to score so far.

MSU needs a long drive for a score if they want to be in this game in the 4th quarter. MSU is not going to score 17 points in the 4th quarter.
 
It was a good game in the 1st half. But MSU defense just looks tired out there now. Their offense can't get anything going either.

National title game should be very interesting. Dashaun Watson looked amazing vs. OU and Bama always struggles vs QBs with his style of play. And it won't get any easier for the Bama offense either. Clemson's pass rush is just as good, if not better than MSU's, especially if Shaq Lawson is able to play.

And who should have been in the playoff instead of MSU? Cook has a sprained shoulder that almost certainly will require surgery. Critics and haters can say all they want to, but MSU was a top four team this season. A healthy Connor Cook makes a difference tonight. Doesn't mean they win, but it's not as bad as it was. Either way Alabama is legit and it's not even close. I think this might be one of Snakes best teams he's ever paid for err coached.

I'm not sure any of that holds water. This isn't a good offensive Bama team and they just hung 38 like it wasn't anything to it.

38 -0. Not real sure Heath Schuler at QB makes a difference in this one. It's a laugher. Anything otherwise is just homerfied.

To be fair, Bama strugged to get a consistent offense going in the 1st half and only scored 17 points through the 1st like 40 minutes of the game. The kick return TD just broke the spirits of the MSU defense (and their team as a whole really) and they looked tired the rest of the game after that.
