College Football Thread

Also where is Utah State? That offense is insane and has a next level QB. Their only loss was at Spartan Stadium to open the season. They are a good football team and I hope they get a chance to play someone legit.

Notre Dame QB is out damn. I know FSU isn’t the greatest team or even having a good season but thier team is full of top level athletes that can play.

Damn sure empty on the OL. There are people on this board who could play OL for that team right now

After seeing Georgia handle Auburn, I think Georgia is one of the few teams in the nation with the talent to be a threat to Bama. The problem is this Georgia team is extremely poorly coached.

The short yardage issues are 100% on the O-coordinator and the penalties are ridiculous. That many false starts at home is just embarrassing.

If the coaching staff figures a few things out over the next couple weeks, Georgia has a chance. Otherwise we're gonna get our doors blown off.

If Tua goes down or isn’t 100%, anything can happen. Otherwise, I’m not sure it’s a game at halftime.

Didn’t watch much of the Georgia-Auburn game, but did see enough this season that tells me UGA is a very good team. I hope they handle business the remainder of the season and keep it close with Alabama and maybe just actually win. It’s tough dare I say impossible to keep Michigan out at this point and that is all I have at this point. This season sucks lol

If Swift can break some big runs (dude does video game stuff on the field) then Georgia has a chance. Not much of one but at least a chance.

UGA needa to utilize its playmakers more. Mecole Hardman may be the best overall athlete in college football right now. It's a travesty that UGA isn't getting the ball in his hands more.

He’s not better than Chubb, Michele, Gurley, etc that has faced them before with little success (in wins) .

Fromm isn’t having the year to beat them either. But like I said, if Tua can’t play it might not be over by half

The thread is boring because outside of 4-5 people it doesn’t seem like anyone cares about college football.

1. Alabama
2. Clemson
3. Notre Dame
4. LSU
5. Michigan
6. Georgia
7. Oklahoma
8. Ohio State
9. Washington State
10. Central Florida

Obviously, Alabama/LSU is the biggest game of the week (Roll Tide!). Bama will have their biggest test to date in that one. Tiger Stadium under the lights is a challenge.

Georgia better not take Kentucky lightly. The Cats have a good defense and with the game in Lexington, that presents a test for UGA.

I don’t see Notre Dame losing before the playoff. Their biggest challenge will come from Syracuse.

Clemson will likely go unbeaten into the playoffs because the ACC is weaker that it has been the past few years.

I see Michigan beating Ohio State right now.

Oklahoma I think loses again because their defense is sooooo terrible.

UCF is annoying.

Which is really ironic since the last time OU won the national championship back in 2000 or 2001 (I forget which) they had a killer defense, I mean the college football version of the 85 Bears or the Ray Lewis led Baltimore defense that stifled everybody that year. Since then it's like Dallas Cowboys football, all flash no substance.

Notre Dame will likely be in the playoffs. Unless USC decides they want to try and play good football next Saturday

It’ll be interesting to see what happens if Bama or Clemson lose thier conference title. if bama loses a close one to Uga, no way is bama kept out. I don’t think you can say the same about Clemson if they lose.

I was in fifth grade when the Boz was the biggest in college football. Remember that? There’s a good Espn 60 in 60 about him.

Oh yeah, I remember him. If you just change the word arm to talent the old line that Kevin Costner had about the young pitcher Nuke Laloosh would apply, "million dollar talent, 5 cent brain". Did you ever hear about the exchange between the Boz and Walter Payton when the Seahawks played the Bears after Boz entered the NFL? It's a classic.

I get what you are saying, but can’t see how Pitt beats Clemson in a couple weeks, but anything can happen. What would happen is the conmittees wet dream. Push Clemson out and that allows them to somehow get scUM and Notre Dame in alongside Alabama.
