College Football Thread

Every power 5 team league except the Big 12 has a TV network deal. In addition they all get a share of the revenue come bowl season. The prestige of Norte Dame is an illusion and their pompous attitude (still current) about being elite is also a non factor.

UGA falls to 10 and should have fallen further.

This year's Georgia team has a fantastic defense but the offense has been a huge letdown. They're weak at WR and Fromm is a tremendously overrated QB. When teams can contain the run game they've been able to keep games close. Georgia's passing attack is not anything approaching a threat.

Unbelievable bs call on an unnecessary roughness call on UT there. Changed the game completely. Anyone who watches football knows that sort of thing happens all the time in a game and is never called. Totally changed the game. BS hold call right before that as well in which UT scored a TD. I can't explain how frustrating it is when a team like Bama, who gets all the great players, also gets all the calls.

Alabama always gets all the calls.

They just showed Taylor again thinking he's Gaurantano. Someone in the ESPN production truck has no clue what Gaurantano looks like.

So Tennessee called a perfect play where everyone in the stadium knew it was a sneak but it was actually a pitch to the left that would have been an easy TD. Gaurantano decided to call his own number in which he had no chance to score. Two key plays prevented UT from potentially upsetting Bama. I fully admit that this would never have been a game had Tua not been injured, but man UT had a real chance here to pull an unbelievable upset and two **** plays that had nothing to do with Bama's talent or coaching ended it.

Can’t believe people are talking Oregon/Utah with a chance to make the playoff. They have played one team of note combined and Oregon lost that game to a meh Auburn squad. Move along.

LSU is going to embarrass Georgia in a few weeks. Fromm is getting worse as the season goes on. Even his defenders can't deny how bad he's been this year.

Well there goes Oregon. Utah has beaten one team that was ranked (Arizona State) at the time of that game. I am not one for multiple teams getting a shot from the same conference, but the PAC 12 is weak and so is the Big 12.
Sign me up for L$U, Ohio $tate, Clem$on, and Georgia/Alabama.
