AA has stated that he believes in the draft and I think most GMs want "their guys". It's why I originally thought we'd be out on Grandal, but after seeing our options we may have to lose that pick as opposed to paying the king's ransom for Realmuto.
If we do lose our 3rd pick, getting another pick and more importantly more allotment money in exchange for player(s) who have peaked may be in the cards. The Indians and D-backs stick out as they're already potential trade partners. The A's stick out because they are desperate for major league ready pitching to fill out a rotation.
Round A
34. Marlins
35. Rays
36. Reds
37. Pirates (compensation for Hoglund)
38. Athletics
39. Brewers
40. Twins
Round B
71. Royals
72. Orioles
73. Pirates
74. Padres
75. Diamondbacks
76. Rockies
77. Indians
78. Cardinals
