The saying on Wall Street is the real scandals are the things that are legal. There are significant parts of our financial system that largely amount to legalized theft.

My hope though is that Bankman-Fried crossed the line and will have the book thrown at him.

I really don't know anything about the situation. I thought the bitcoin crap was a scam from the start and don't need a congressional hearing. It does seem rather a waste of time this late in the year/term. Why not just call him into testify once the GOP is in charge in a couple more weeks?

I find it interesting that you guys think this is worthy of congressional testimony but think Jan 6 was nothing. Was it mostly MAGA gooberheads that were gullible enough to invest in bitcoin?
