I know most of you are cattle ranchers when it comes to players these days. You would turn over the roster 20 deep every year, but letting Max walk would be foolish. Sign him now!!!

Nice to see some runs but still a lot of strikeouts and reliant on the long ball a lot in this game. Fried was good fried last night. Glad to see the pitching still looking good.

I am going to remote for work today so I can watch AJ. Don’t tell my job please.

As bad as our offense has been, we are winning at a 98 win pace…. Just sucks the Phillies are winning at a 117 win pace

I think I talked myself into not wanting to win the division. I know that is one more series the team could get bounced in but if they loose a wild card series then I assume they weren’t going to win a division or championship series. Let the Phillies sit for over a week and then have to face a team that pretty much already reset their pitching.

Hopefully once these 100+ win teams get bounced again mlb and Dickfred will make winning more valuable.

Right, Phillies are playing out of their asses right now. Even with that, their barely ahead of us in SRS, meaning they've not confidently beaten their opponents that much better than the Braves when factoring in Strength of schedule.

Phillies are massively outperforming expectations. Current batter wRC+ vs. career for "qualified" hitters

Bohm - 157 vs. 105. BABIP way up. His exit velo is up.
Harper - 158 vs. 142 - Within the realm of deviation. But still better than expected
Stott - 135 vs 100
Realmuto 119 vs 111
Marsh 114 vs 104
Schwarber 113 vs 120
Castellanos 64 vs 110

So basically you have 1 guy way under performing expectations , 2 guys way over performing expectations. And basically everyone who's around their norms are still overachieving.

Trea Turner is also over performing but has missed games.

Pitching is where it's stupid ERA- vs. career average (lower is better)
Nola 75 vs 87
Wheeler 62 vs 85
Sanchez 81 vs 94
Suarez 34 vs 74

But to put it even simpler, Phillies starters except wheeler are all significantly better than their xERA.

Phillies are just playing out of their minds now. And they'll stop at some point.
