DA Fani Willis

What crimes did I convict him of that he hasnt been charged with? I hope he has his day in court like everyone else. You and Trump seem to be scared ****less that that day will actually come. If he is found innocent so be it. I will accept the verdicts whatever they may be. My life will go on as normal regardless. I have **** all over so many of the elite politicians in this country from Hillary to Biden and now Trump but you people lose your minds when I say it about Trump.

Not realizing that when you hire someone via contract they are still an employee is a law school day 1 educational staple.

This woman is not only full of bad judgement, but a moron

She is going to 'GET TRUMP' though!

I would be surprised if she was disqualified, not if she isnt. None of this has any bearing on the facts of the case against Trump and his lackies. If you think Trumps innocent I would think you would want him to have the chance to clear his name. I just want him to have his day in court no matter what the outcome is. No one should be able to use the Presidency to escape criminal charges.

It has lots of bearing if she used this case as an excuse to pay money to her boyfriend in which she got back in trips and stuff.

He took a paycut from what he was making in private practice so thats not going to fly.

But he's making more than the other people on Fani's team with no experience in a criminal court. That money she's paying is coming back to her in the form of gifts.

Wade does have experience as a prosecutor and a Judge in criminal court. Salaries are negotiable and seeing as he was taking a paycut he may have had more leverage in negotiating. I dont know the history of the others hired. It makes no sense for someone to give her gifts for paying him less than he would be making if she didnt hire him. Is that something you would do? Give someone gifts for paying you less money than you were making? Its funny that defendents want to make the argument for a more expereienced prosecutor to prosecute them. If he is inexperienced that should theoretically work to their advantage. Ironically Ashleigh Merchant, the lawyer for Roman who is raising these issues advocated for Nathan Wade when he ran for Judge saying he was well qualified and experienced. Here is a picture of wearing his campaign shirt.

So we are actually at the point where defendants want a better prosecutor to prosecute them. What a world we live in.

Its not my fault you fundamentally misunderstand my position. My criticism of law enforcement doesnt mean I am obligated to side with every criminal. Trump is not a victim here. He had his day in court and lost. He didnt have to rely on overworked public defenders. He had the opportunity to hire the best lawyers money can buy. Only people who base their decisions on their political beliefs think what you do, anyone who looks at the facts of the case know this was a correct ruling.

The point is that he probably doesn't have enough qualifications to be given this type of job except for the fact that he's bumping his boss.

I will throw you a bone, Cajun. It's hard to get a prosecutor disqualified from a case. Despite all the shady stuff that looks bad there might not be enough here for a DQ.
