Some of you are suffering from Biden Derangement Syndrome so I made this thread for you to bring all your complaints so I can shoot them down. Bring it critical thinkers.

I can understand Rs not approving and Ds approving no matter what, so what's independents' approval rating?

Contrary to Biden’s campaign pledges, cannabis has not been federally decriminalized, people remain in federal prison over non-violent marijuana offenses and the plant has yet to be rescheduled under the Controlled Substances Act.

Fake news. Democrats are pushing marijuana legalization through Congress.

I see no one has any valid complaints. Like I thought everyone is happy with President Biden and he is going to win 58 states in 2024.

Fiscal stimulus was poorly calibrated. It was a mistake to adopt the spawn of the unholy alliance of Sanders and Hawley, not to mention the winning issue of the Georgia senate runoffs. Next time crunch the numbers rather than go with something that appeals to the fancy of Hawley, Sanders and the voters of Georgia.

To his credit Larry Summers flagged this one a while back.

I'll start.

How do you feel about President Biden discriminating on the basis of sex and race in his choice of Supreme Court nominee?

Do you believe it's a positive that inflation is at a 40 year high and is outperforming wage growth despite a massive labor shortage?

The President promised to forgive student loans. He has not. Do you feel that it was an empty promise, or a stupid one?

The President has restricted oil and natural gas production since taking office. This has resulted in higher profits for Russia and higher prices for Americans. Do you support essentially funneling American's money to the oligarchic dictator who is now shelling Ukrainian civilians?

President Biden immediately lifted Trump era sanctions against Russia when he took office. How do you feel that worked out?

The US Army put forth a damning report of the Presidents order on the Afghan retreat.

Biden "rejected it" without offering any explanation.

Which military staple is correct in this instance...Biden or the US Army?

What was the purpose of buying 500M COVID tests when the pandemic was clearly going to be burned out before they could be used?

Why, when there have been warnings about supply chain issues, has the federal government pushed vaccine requirements that further interrupted said supply chain?

1. There has never been a black woman on the supreme court. Do you think that's because there was never a deserving candidate? Black people overwhelmingly chose Biden. All Presidents pander to their base about judges.

2. Inflation is the result of the disastrous Presidency and unprecedented levels of spending from the previous administration.

3. The Presidency is far from over. It would give Republicans additional ammo going into 2022 elections. I fully expect him to forgive some amount before he leaves office.

4. He is doing what he ran on. Promises made, promises kept. People must like it since he won in a landslide.

5. Biden tried to reset the relationship with Russia by throwing them a bone. I believe you are referring to the pipeline to Germany from Russia. So also a favor to Germany to repair relations after the dark years of Trump.

That was the deep state trying to attack Biden. The withdrawal was "perfect" just like Trumps phone calls.

If I recall it was Republicans who complained that Obama left them with no Covid tests despite it not even existing at that point.

You can cry about how he handles the virus but it was Trumps negligence that allowed the spread in the first place. With a competent leader like Biden Covid would have been like the bird flu or any other that came before it.

Is this all you got? A bunch of fake news from NeverBidens who hate America? I remember outrage from Republicans because Democrats didn't wish Trum success when he started but it's been nothing but hate and contempt from the right for Biden since day 1. Over a year after the election and they are STILL trying to overturn the election. Bunch of sore losers if you ask me.

Hope you don’t mind if I jump in on a few.

I’ve shared my disagreement with limiting the search to one very specific minority group, but I think discrimination is a bit of an excessive descriptor for this. I don’t think it was wrong, but rather unnecessary.

Do you believe it's a positive that inflation is at a 40 year high and is outperforming wage growth despite a massive labor shortage?

Obviously the answer is no. I simply disagree with the assessment that Biden is primarily responsible. The underlying issues have been brewing for a couple years at least.

The President promised to forgive student loans. He has not. Do you feel that it was an empty promise, or a stupid one?

It was a stupid promise. I wouldn’t be surprised if Biden’s promise is kept this year, but it remains a bad idea.

The President has restricted oil and natural gas production since taking office. This has resulted in higher profits for Russia and higher prices for Americans. Do you support essentially funneling American's money to the oligarchic dictator who is now shelling Ukrainian civilians?

Again, I obviously dislike some of the effects here, but this is certainly some one-sided framing. I could frame it as America taking the step to be a global leader in reducing the domestic production of fossil fuels to help combat climate change.

President Biden immediately lifted Trump era sanctions against Russia when he took office. How do you feel that worked out?

Honestly no opinion on this because I’m unfamiliar with what specific effect this had on the present situation.

Cajun, hopefully one day far, far away as his family surrounds him for his last breath, "This was trump's fault".
