Dexter

BlackwaterPark

Approaching Buddy Hernandez Territory
This is the last season :(

This show has had a great run. I really liked/loved all the seasons except 3 and 5. Season 4 may be one of the best seasons of anything I have ever seen on tv. It was brilliantly done. Season 8 started off with a bang last weekend.

Deb is falling apart. It will be interesting to see what she does this season.

One thing I think might happen is...

Dexter finds out that he really didn't need to be a serial killer. That he was talked into it by his dad and the psychiatrist. Sort of leading into that with all the he has emotions stuff. Maybe even the psychiatrist gets off on turning people into serial killers.

I would love to watch this show's final season but the stupid TWC/CBS blackout has Showtime gone for the immediate future. Totally sucks. Going to be royally pissed if Homeland is delayed by this stupid blackout.

Homeland is so good. Easily my favorite show out there right now.

This last season of Dexter has been pretty disappointing to me. Too many story lines going all over the place, looney tunes cliff hangers that don't amount to anything, and now we're supposed to care about some emo faced kid they only introduced 2 weeks ago? I hope it picks up in these last few episodes that are left.

Welp, that was a pretty horrible ending to a great series. Wish they just would've wrapped it up in season 5 or something.

It wasn't as bad of an ending as I thought it was going to be. The writing on Dexter had just been getting worse and worse.

Considering the season, I was pleasantly surprised with the ending.

But the season was just awful - and left no choice but an uninspiring ending.

This whole season should have been about the cops closing in on him - like the end of last season. Instead, they just completely dropped it and made us watch 12 hours of nonsense

The finale starts here in 30 min and I'm pretty much only watching it because I've invested almost 8 seasons in this thing and want to see how it turns out. Good or bad.

That's number 1 on this list. Plus 9 more things which are totally spot on.

A somewhat interesting ending but the show should not have lasted this long. Like Deb's death, I guess they ended it the best way they could.

I just didn't like that he went from a sociopathic badass killer to an emo wussy teen at the end of the series. I just don't like where they took his character at all.

I mean the final scenes of Dexter were
he drives his boat into a hurricane and becomes a lumberjack. How is that not absurd?

I lolled at the ending because I immediately thought of this
