This a pretty good example of confusing the statement “bloop hits are not predictive of future offensive success” with “bloop hits aren’t good and don’t count”.
Most folks who are against analytics can’t quite grasp the difference

Ah.
Nice try but I've been facetiously saying that for every bloop hit for a few posts. I've also never been against analytics. I made one set of comments saying that the defensive metrics seem incomplete based on what's intuitive/visible and that's it. Stop trying to start a fight when there is none.
