Now this is from The New Republic, which has become decidedly more liberal/progressive with last year's ownership change, but it's a pretty good article. I've found myself reading a lot more English history (and its effects on the American Revolution) over the past couple of years. While this article has a definite slant, I think it has some food for thought.
