Discussion Thread: All things Nationals

This is Nationals-related:

I am really looking forward to seeing their new closer give up a Papelbomb or two in the playoffs.

Lead down to 1 game.

Mets avoid Scherzer and throw DeGrom, Harvey and Noah this weekend at Citi.

Boy did you jump to conclusions. They are tailspinning their way out of a playoff spot. Great article on the **** product on the field here:

6 game losing streak, questioning the skipper, injuries, and well.... lot of guys coming up in FA this offseason.

I knew they had fallen behind the Mets, but I didn't realize they were below .500. Still six weeks to go, but clearly a disappointing performance.

Who'll be the first out the door, Drew Storen or Matt Williams? Both have one foot out the door.

It would be extremely unlikely, given they would be selling low and probably still view him as a cornerstone, but I would at least see if the Nats are willing to listen on Rendon. I would see if there's any chance at all of buying low.
