Do you think a lot of black people dont swim

Double reply to yourself of a thread a year old lol

But thanks for the bump and reminder that a lot of people here think decades of action/history have no affect on things still today.

This thread was really good for educating us.

We can now heal, and can now allow black people to start swimming.

Thank you, Goldy, for doing this brave service on behalf of the black man

For someone who tries to say others have issues with comprehension etc

Its weird that you went with that reply cause that isn’t what the thread is about

But hey, keep being miserable I guess

Yeah, what is the rest of it?

What was that reply referencing to when speaking to tap?

Btw, here’s the full quote:

Well, if people genuinely understand

You then can heal and move forward tap

This is basic healing and building moving forward of literally anything in life

Of course, not everything is racist or racism.

But what we are talking about is dealing with people that think racism isn’t still happening or the centuries of racism somehow don’t affect things today. Which, is the point of this thread

I even bolded the part that you still, a year later, haven’t acknowledged etc

You’re such a pitiful person though so it might still be hard for such, what seems, a joyless individual

Just another great example of why it’s pointless to actually engage with you and why you should just laugh and move a long when it comes to your pseudo intellectual ass

I guess I'll ask you again for like the thirtieth time on this thread.

What was it that you wanted out of this thread?

For us all to agree that there was racism 150 years ago and then... Now what?

In your own words, it's for us to heal.

Ok great. Can black people start swimming now? What do you suggest sturg33 does to help this cause after my healing?

do you purposefully go out of your way to act like things haven't been answered for you?

again, it's saying actions from the past have direct reaction/affect to things still happening today

think of it like throwing a rock in a lake. the rock might be gone but the ripples continue in the lake and can affect other things depending on how big the rock was etc

thus, while there might not be barriers up as much as in the past

the affects of making sure people couldn't enter pools by dumping chemicals in them, sicking dogs on them, closing pools instead of letting certain people in still has a ripple effect today.

it really isn't a difficult point to understand but you had 60+ replies of trying to be whatever persona you carry yourself as here to obviously understand that. then you had a whole year to figure that out and still didn't get it done and decided "man, i'm like really smart and i'm gonna cherry pick quotes to bump a thread to make my miserable existence feel better about itself" (or so it seems)

but if you can't understand that racism affects small things like this, then i don't give you much hope for the systems that were put up elsewhere and doubt you can ever move forward and heal and fix anything in this country to get the playing field on more level playing field

if you're like "there's no racism. it's 2022 and that stuff was a long time ago"

you have no intention of having a real historical conversation of what happened and why those things are still an issue today.

the topic of the thread is about one topic but it's talking about a bigger issue of this country that woven into it's fabric

what do i suggest for sturg33? i suggest you stop being a pretentious dick for starters who purposefully argues things like a disingenuous right wing radio show host.

I gotta admit

That response was even worse than I could have predicted. You should stick with ol reliable "lol"

I am not sure if I am smart but I am smarter than goldfly. That much is clear. I am thankful you have healed the board with this thread. Now that we are healed, black people can now beging to swim.

You are a hero

You are a hero

it's ok little guy

i'm here for you to lash out. i can handle it from such little people like yourself

never said i was hero ftr. didn't think this thread or any thread here has healed anything.

saying if we can understand history we can then move to healing (as a country) seems to have really triggered you though since you have been hung up on phrase.

Now that we are healed, what do we do now? (He asks again)

(Pss - Goldy said he was gonna beat up said "little guy"... So adorable)

you been drinking?

it makes sense if you have

where did i say we are healed?

also, why are you so hung up on that word?

Ahhh... Because you said, in your own words, that we can heal once we understand?

i had 3 questions there and not one answered but that's ok. you don't really want to have any conversation about any topic

to answer this question, again, just go through the most recent replies about understanding what has happened in the past and how it can still affect today.

i have no faith in you though

since in over 1 year you haven't done that still

The seals own words, people

We must first understand.

Then we can heal

(Quoted verbatim)

Then... Well we are not quite sure. But I'm sure racism or something

honestly not sure who you think your drunk ass if talking to here. the style is as if you think youre in deadpool or the office and are breaking the 4th wall lol

for years you have taken quotes out of context and clipped them to try to paint things however you are spinning it. you're like the ted cruz of this board

you should look at the full quote and the context of the conversation but that's asking a lot for you

here is, the full quote (AGAIN). (hint, you'll notice that while you are saying "i'm sure it's racism" that in the quote that you leave out, that i say "Of course, not everything is racist or racism")

Well, if people genuinely understand

Then we can heal.

Did you not say that?

What.did you mean by that? What is next after the understanding and healing?

seriously

main-qimg-674537b02eabb06445ba508a7f6fd959-lq

it means find the root cause for an issue. once that is identified and corrected, you can heal

it isn't hard to understand. it's like health on a human body etc

have a good night. hope the hangover isn't too bad for ya. wasted a enough time just going in circles with you

Time is a flat circle because you are incapable of making a coherent point in this

First, understand (check)

Then we must heal (check?)

Now, we can move forward (by doing what??)

Ffs

Do you have a mental issue? Like seriously

Those phrases arent specific but in general about finding and acknowledging an issue, identifying it and then correcting it and moving forward

You don’t even acknowledge the first 2 things as real lol
