Yeah I think this just an audition for him. He is going back down soon no matter what he does.
He has looked really good from what I’ve been reading - I think if he’s better ( and I mean like strike everybody out lookin’ like EOF) than DLS they might keep him up.
You know damn well he’s gonna see action tonight too. Hell, only way that he doesn’t see action is probably if Sale throws a complete game.

Yes - I expect his role will be one inning of lock down- I don’t think they want him for long relief at all.
At least that’s what I tell myself- I just want a coupla’ relievers that we can really trust to come in and throw a clean inning to the top/middle of a batting order.
I think he is first lefty out of the pen tonight - we shall see…
