Not worried. I have been assured by experts Olson is better. We deserve every butt-kicking Freeman gives us. I just can't wait until it really counts.

Cusicks control is sketchy. He could be a high leverage BP arm or he could be Newk. Lango is the one that sucked the most to lose but catchers are always hard to predict. I still like the trade.

I like the trade also. It's the fallout of the trade (FF to LA) that I don't like. He could've ended up there anyway though

I will 100% admit you are right. After 40 years of sticking with this team through thick and thin, I have had enough of watching guys that should have been Braves lifers play somewhere else. Whether it's Knucksie, Tommy, or now Freddie. It's the same crap. I do not care how good Matt Olson is or where he is from. In the mid-2000s it felt like losing Glavine just ripped the heart out of the original dynasty. It feels like losing Freeman has done the same to this group. I will not be over it until Freddie retires.

Seriously… It’s a tired act to continue to harp on Braves “lifers” particularly when 1) it’s not in the team’s best interest going forward and 2) Freeman specifically had an opportunity to come back to this organization but chose to try for more and left the FO no choice but to choose certainty late in the game. It was his right to reject the Braves final offer, but he also has to accept the consequences of that action (which he clearly has done unlike VirginiaBrave or anyone else who continues to harp on Freeman).

Also - you aren’t a Braves fan if you don’t want what’s in the Braves best interest going forward. Matt Olson has outproduced Freddie so far and I think he will over the next 7 years too. I’m rooting for the team - not for a single player alone.

If you can’t get over it, then I agree with Enscheff, it’s best you leave.

Yeah the LA part sucks but I’m glad AA isn’t paying people based off their past but what their probable future. Morton is probably just struggling a little bc of the short ST but he’s getting up there in age so we’ll have a few holes to fill this offseason between SP, SS, LF, and closer.

Yep. We deserve it after trying to lowball Freeman. Given our start it may turn out to be a moot point anyway. Lightning generally doesn't strike twice. We got our ring last year. I don't expect a repeat
