Braves Country on their Facebook page seems to think Ron never hustles because of the long single in the NLDS, and the time Snit benched him for a half game. Can't talk bad about Freddie, but have to always point out Ron never hustles.

Ron was put on the DL in 2018 his first year up for sprinting 120% up the first base line, recklessly getting to first base, and almost blowing his knee out. Thankfully it wasn't worse, but if he had hustled better he probably wouldn't have gotten injured.

Who is a bigger threat to score from 2nd on a single than Ron?
Who is a bigger threat to score from 1st on a double than Ron?
Who steals about 40 bases in a season and gets told they don't hustle?

Is Ronald Acuña needs to hustle the modern day braves fan meme of "Andruw Jones doesn't care because he smiles after a strikeout"?

These types of questions always seem so ****ing racist at their core. Not you, obviously, but the bastards on Facebook.

We haven't talked about those contracts lately, but that **** is still insane. Also insane? Arguing that taking 100 million dollars is getting ripped off...and being right.

Acuna is a showboater, but he absolutely hustles. Acuna's hustle will never be a problem. His potential lack of humility may be a problem, but his willingness to adjust his swing so quickly makes me think that won't be an issue, but I guess it still could be. I think the thing that might make Acuna be a let down more than anything will be fan expectations and how he handles that, which is related to humility.

i don't think showboating is akin to lacking humility. at least not a troublesome lack of humility anyway. guy clearly works hard.

Well Ozzie claimd that Acuna wants to do 50/50 this year. So I'll be disappointed if he doesn't
