Steak and lobster is commonly and traditionally served to military personnel who are about to begin combat operations. I’m not sure when that started, but it’s happened at least as far back as Desert Storm.

On the list of problems, whether we are feeding too much steak to the military doesn’t register. I error on the side of feed those men and women whatever they want. They deserve it.
