DOGE

If you don't think that ensuring we continue to carry the biggest stick is important, you need to reevaluate how the world works.

There are a lot of things to be critical about concerning the Trump Administration. This isn't one of them. Our military looked weak the last 4 years and it indirectly led to 2 Wars and major instability in Western Europe and the Middle East.

It’s really not any more complicated than I don’t believe the amount we spend is necessary. It’s not any worse when Trump spends billions on weapons than it was when every other President did, but I just don’t agree that we’re actually in a position of weakness militarily or that we can’t afford to cut significantly while maintaining military superiority.

Watched Churchill At War last night and heard his Dunkirk thoughts on trading machinery for man power.

2) who commited US to leaving when they did ?

I still congratulate the Biden Administration for knowing/ recognizing it was time to go and, honoring our commitment.

Turns out the big loser was Ukraine who didnt get the outdated arms.

You cant do both. object to giving Ukraine obsolete arms and abandoning obsolete arms.

How did they get that equipment? By defeating the Afghan Security forces. People act like we left fully stocked american bases there. That's not the case, it was the Afghan Security forces who were taken over by the Taliban. Your proposal to resolve this? Keep thowing billions upon billions of dollars to make war that clearly isn't wanted by the people of the country?

There is clear revisionist history.

That's cute. A very rough draft of map that gives zero actual context.

Here, I'll help you out.

"Three years since Russia’s February 2022 full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia still occupies roughly 20 percent of the country after gaining over four thousand square kilometers of territory in 2024"

And to this point, are you ****ing serious? We abandoned, not only the Afghan forces that we knew would get slaughtered (along with their families), but we also left all the equipment behind.

My proposal would be to force the Taliban to adhere to the terms of the peace accords. And if we can't do that, then strategically exit over several months without leaving billions of dollars in equipment and endangering the lives of our soldiers and civilians.

So your proposal was to take weapons from the Afghan Security Forces then?

What about what I shared and you shared contradict things? Russia still occupies land in the Ukraine. But they used to occupy more.

Denying the effective counter offensive and hold is stupid.

We left behind 7 billion dollars of equipment in Afghanistan.

you obviously didnt read enough of the article you posted to learn that it was Trump doing the accounting.
And you obviously slept through the last DJT admin because you would then be at the least aware that DJT assessments of dollar value are to be kind , sketchy, or, to be accurate, crooked

$7 billion my ass

On the eve of his inauguration, President Trump accused the Biden administration of handing over U.S. military assets to the Taliban following the 2021 withdrawal — a withdrawal that Mr. Trump negotiated. Now, he's demanding the Taliban give back the hardware valued at $7 billion.

If true then what did the Biden administration have it valued at then?

I gotta hear this.

That's not what you said and you know it. You were either flat out lying or you were misrepresenting the truth. Russia still controls roughly 20% of Ukraine territory. At the highest they were near 25%. And some of that territory is technically owned by no one since both sides abandoned it.

RUssia was pushed back once the US started sending old military supplies. That's the gist of overthing. I think that's not a sign of weakness. Russia has suffered almost a million Casualties with no direct intervention from the US. If you don't think under normal circumstances that sends a bit of a chill up the spine of our enemies in Russia and China, we just don't see eye to eye on that. If we wanted to wreck the russians and push them back we could have with no casualties and watching our old military products with no air support (where the US dominates the world) means Putin knows he can't really test the USA. So instead it's time for his puppets to weaken the US and her allies.

I hate sharing from this stupid ****ing account, but this is such a wildly misleading claim by Elon and Gracias here. Non-citizen residents get restricted SSNs to work. If the claim is that Biden was letting in more asylum seekers and migrants, that’s not new information. I’ll reserve judgement on the claims of voter fraud or of illegal immigrants being provided SSNs until the government provides any evidence beyond a bar graph, but these numbers alone are not proof of any fraud.

I’m not sure how Elon seems to think DOGE is going to remotely solve elected officials doing insider trading and peddling their influence for book/speaking deals, but I do genuinely welcome the attempt.

Agreed. The left will lie regardless, so just do it

[Tw]1907065416783946199[/tw]

This would entail the government is telling the truth about eliminating fraud as the way they’re going to save all that money in those programs. “Because Elon said so” isn’t enough for me to accept that as obviously true, particularly when the math doesn’t math on it.

It’s gonna be super awesome when the only thing that changes with healthcare this term is we have all the same expensive care but now we stop curing diseases.
