zeets had a great post on another thread comparing very poorly chosen one's response to covid to a hypothetical one where W responded to 9-11 by peddling conspiracy theories

that's basically what happened...the one big item that landed in his in-box was handled with "magical thinking"...ended up costing us a lot of lives

But he did make that megaphone speech really well!

Gotta wait for the lady to finish her last year of residency.

Man, our tax bill is gonna be really huge.

No time for setting our city on fire for years to come. Guess we will be part of the team to rebuild
 
Donald Trump's indifference to his job and the suffering of fellow human beings has resulted in tens of thousands of U.S. deaths. If these really were the rough and tumble times he claimed he longed for during his first campaign, his inaction, corruption and incompetence would likely now get him dragged out into the streets and dealt with in an ugly manner.

Sad to say only Nationals fans have dealt with him in a satisfactory manner so far.

Body count at 5. Reports of more violence to come. Just wait till he gets prosecuted. Thats when **** REALLY hits the fan.
 
So many govt. officials, mostly Republicans, have been saying "This isn't who we are". But we all know that there are a large percentage of people who believe in things that just aren't true. It's not at all surprising that millions of people have been convinced that the election was stolen.
