No. Your goal is to get on base and score that run. Not continue your at bat. Wild pitch I would want the ump to think I swung it it meant I got to get on first and the run scored.

When I was a kid I was a pretty bad hitter and always was on the lookout for a chance to get on base via dropped third strike. That was my thing. I guess if you are a major league quality hitter you don't develop that level of situational alertness that I had.
