That was not a personal attack. It was just bringing up past events that took place. We are aligned on almost all important things so an argument within you is akin to an argument with my brother.

Deficit spending will continue until we can do a real budget which isn't possible because we don't have 60 votes.

Consistent budget reconciliation year after year is unfortunately the only thing we can do right now.

There's only one way to get around this.

My point is you cant say

1. Tarrifs aren't adding material cost pressures and...

2. Lifting tarrifs are causing large cost relief

Both of those things cannot be true but that is the position the admin is taking and one you seemingly agree with despite the literal impossibility of it

Why is this how you bundle what I'm saying?

1) Tariffs don't affect all things equally as other macro economic factors behave. Some items also have more of a cost benefit analysis to assess. I've said repeatedly that I want a unified western hemispere under a freedom based ideology. I'm fine to have a national security strategy that favors nations that are actually friendly to us.

2) For some consumers for some products it is a cost lever. For some, its having almost no impact. welcome to a the complex modern economy!
