Economics Thread

The folks who have been whipsawed the past few weeks should consider this their opportunity to sell.

More farmers have gone belly up the last two years than any period in my lifetime.

Idk what the fix is, but prices are the same and their inputs are up 4-5x

Idk if it’s incentive to buy only domestic but somethings gotta change.

The market manipulating by DJT this morning was executed perfectly. I should have bought the dip.

Oh well. Those in the know who knew he was gonna announce this just got richer.

Might wanna sit this one out champ.

I literally deal with them every day.

Peanuts, same price.

Cotton- worse.

Corn- about the same or lower depending on use

Pecans - worse, thanks Mexico

Ah the years the small guys shut downs

All was left was the big fish or really small where you can work your own without staff.

I guess you know best, you’re in the industry in 2025 after all.

it's just weird that someone who claims that he "literally deals with them every day" could be so lacking in basic information

So freaking stupid. Trillions lost. Complete global uncertainty. Right back where we started.

See you in 90 days

It’s gonna be super awesome when Trump just gets away with all of this because he doesn’t implement the policy but a bunch of people think he did and it’s not raising prices. Then it’ll back up his claim that tariffs are only bad for the rich people and that they overreacted.
