Why place even higher tariffs on China’s competitors then? And why say they’re reciprocal when you just mean you want to literally balance trade on goods when we already make up for it in services and it’s pointless to do so in the first place?

I’m not going to pretend to know what Trump is thinking like all of you do.

What I see are the end results and we have chinas competitors coming to us wanting to get good deals while China is still in the corner with a collapsing economy and now a 125% to their principal consumers.

I don’t know guys - I can see someone getting lucky every now and again but trump seems to get “lucky” a lot.

They will 100% benefit from this.

Trump is completely changing the global supply chain and mostly to get it out of China because they are unreliable. We will grow ours over the next ten years whole substituting to crap we get from China with crap from other nations. Trump is first president ever to actually think long term.

Thats why I laughed when BL suggested that our allies would start cozying up with them.
