Tariffs are one part of an equation that makes America the best place to house your manufacturing/ops.

Its also one part of an equation that impacts an American citizens finances.

At the end of the day, both groups will have better conditions than ever before.

Countries will be lining up to pay the baseline 10% while not materially, if at all, changing the costs of their products.

Why couldn’t we just make manufacturing easier in America without making things more expensive and pissing off all our trade partners?

Easy - Its a multi pronged effect to make it more advantageous.

Trade is a cooperative endeavor, we could just manufacture the things like computer chips here by making it more enticing to those businesses, but not touch things like coffee or clothing imports. Those prongs don’t seem to add much to the process.

I'm in favor of giving special treatment to ALL organizations (which is what Trump has said repeatedly) for brining their business to the US.
 
Think its important to note that netiher Aces nor Sturg mentioned how good it was for our future that NVidia is making this investment.

They want Trump to fail at the expense of America.

Can't wait for the crow to be served in Q1 26. Going to be even better than the "TRUMP CAN'T WIN" or "TRUMP WILL BE A PUSHOVER AGAIN!"

Businesses should be free to be ripped off by China as much as they want without the American government making it my fucking problem.
