You forgot rule #2. Nothing is Trumps fault. He is a rainmaker. If and when it rains its because he made it. If it doesnt its someone elses fault. Eventually if he has to he will just piss on our leg and tell us its raining. So no matter what happens he will claim to have created 20 million new jobs. And the worse it is the bigger his exageration will be. By election time Trump will be claiming he created 100 million new jobs.....twice.

I think the drop in net migration will turn out to have larger and more long-lasting effects on the cost of living than the tariffs. The dirty little secret is that Americans benefit enormously from not just legal immigration but illegal immigration as well. Often the undocumented status of those immigrants allows for a degree of exploitation. Undocumented workers helped hold down prices for childcare, elder care, construction, food and all sorts of personal services.

If healthcare costs are rising so much that insurance companies need to increase premiums to cover *and* the number of jobs in healthcare continue to rise since they were implemented, maybe we need to re-evaluate a few things about how healthcare is run.

Love that everything is due to 'Tariffs' with no support.

Its an easy thing to throw out there with all the TDS that exists in America.

It is, and should be questioned by consumers. Unfortunately a lot of companies can easily support it by showing the added costs.

Sure - They should add that tariffs are being levied because globalism is about finding the cheapest human capital costs possible. But you don't like that framing at all....

This is just an explicit admission that tariffs do exactly what we’ve been saying they do.
