The shock from 21/22 stayed for sure so it was hard to recognize that within those YoY periods the increase wasn’t what it was for the initial price shocks
If you truly believe the Truflation figures under Biden, you’d have to believe he’s some kind of fucking wizard for getting inflation to that level that quickly after the global shock that was beyond his control. Shout out to the Inflation Reduction Act that took effect right before that decline, eh?

We are not Argentina - There will never be runaway sustained inflation. There are also economic measures that i'm sure Trump/Bessent would have taken at that time that would have resulted in far lower inflation comparatively.

I think it’s very reasonable though to expect a removal of tariffs if they build here. It’s mostly what I want anyway. MOAR jobs keeping larger percentage of cogs here.
Yet there remains baseline tariffs for countries actively playing ball with us.
