Economics Thread

And yet we are headed towards a capex boom which will lead to massively expanded employment.

It’s funny that everyoen is so stupid yet the economy is firing on all cylinders headed into 2026 (just as someone kept saying on this forum).
So the golden age will commence in Q2?

'“Americans are frustrated with rising prices for groceries and electricity, and they are fearful of the hiring recession that’s underway right now,” Heather Long, Navy Federal Credit Union’s chief economist, said in commentary issued Tuesday. “The K-shaped economy is great for the top 20%, but many middle-class and moderate-income Americans are barely keeping up.” '

These buffoons don't know that we're in the golden age.

Huge. It’s not just jobs returning to the US, it’s infrastructure. Not having domestic supplies of this stuff shuts down other industry downstream. Not having large scale production prevents domestics from being price competitive.

As the kids say, this is what I voted for.
Correct - Despite what health care experts say 'efficiency' isn't the #1 priority in all situtaions.

I just can't believe how much of what I wanted I'm getting in Trump v2.

Will go down as the most consequential man in our nations history as this was truly an inflection point between a golden age and a communist dystopia.
