If the number remains at 1, I will eat the biggest heaping of crow you can serve on a plate and do it gladly

A protracted War with Iran would be a disaster
Nothing about the military buildup suggests protracted war. Everything points to air and missile strikes, maybe special forces raids, but not ground invasion.

Just building the enthusiasm for the base for midterms. Rigged system against the people. Only way out is to vote in the right type of republican.

Tariffs will remain with no interruption.
Trump’s been railing on for months about how crucial it is to win this case even though it clearly doesn’t matter because the “tariffs will remain without interruption” and also this loss will build enthusiasm for the midterms even though he’s way underwater on this very issue

Process is important.
Incredible that some have convinced themselves otherwise.

The second that Gorsuch asked whether a future president could use the same process to unilaterally declare a climate emergency and force his/her polices on us, and the administration’s lawyers conceded the point, anyone to the right of AOC should’ve been cheering today’s outcome.

We could all end up vegan in a future where a president decided that cows emitting too much methane was a national emergency. Not all of us on the woke left are salivating at this possibility.

If Trump had equally effective legal options, why didn’t he take those over the illegal option?
Cause its an opinion on power. He believes and his team believed he did but a few other lawyers said he didn't.

But in reality Trump always had the power but you have to make sure to dot your I's and cross your T's!

It cannot be stressed enough that this is the Biden student loan defense, nearly to the letter.

But Biden never had the right so the conclusion is not the same. Trump is literally imposing even more tariffs now.

Its a detour for nothing.

Except the detour is not for nothing

Its fantastic that even more confusion and administrative bloat has been created to get to the same end result.

But its fine - This train isn't stopping. Investment into the US is not going to stop. And countries are still goign to want to sell us their goods despite them eating the majority of the tariffs.

LMAO …lamenting “confusion and administrative bloat” as Trump spent the better part of the last 10 months coming up with a labyrinth of rules and exceptions, changing rates by the day based on tv commercials, phone calls, and mood swings. Your concerns ring a bit hollow, sorry.

Yes - The intetion was to change the world order which is going to result in this. Adding on with no change in end result is unnecessary accretive impact.

Justice Thomas loves being wrong.

Tariffs (or duties) are an import tax, only congress has the power to levy taxes.

"The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States;"
