Looks like another one of those fake injuries, so they don't have to DFA him. It's just another excuse to get the casual fan to believe the news and to get off their backs.
 
Why not Morris? They've both been at Miss and Gwinnett.

I guess they want Morris to get active work in Gwinnett..... I see Hursh only being used in blowout games while with the big club while they would want Morris to get better used to working tight games in the minors.
 
Hursh has been so up-and-down during his career and has yet to distinguish himself at the big league level, but I think he still bears watching. He's got the classic heavy fastball, but doesn't have swing-and-miss stuff so when his pitches are up even by a slim amount, they get tattooed. Hursh will probably pitch a lot of dead innings, but maybe he can show things have come together enough for him to be a contributor. It's not like we're going anywhere.
