Banned IP accounts can't read topics. All you'd have to do is register. Even if you get rejected by Patio to post, you can still read and PM people. Just use a site like work proxy or something.

I still don't understand how you can't PM people. I'm IP banned and I can PM anybody I want. Is anyone else like SAV and can't even PM?

I still think this is a good idea. I've still been having decent success getting people over here via PM. They have around 700 members listed. PM all those posters and you could maybe add another 50 or so posters to this site.

Or we could continue to post about this site on the main board. I think the best time to do it is early in the morning when Patio is still passed out. But we have to find people that can do it.

I never said I couldn't PM anybody.

I've been PM'ing people to death as much as you guys have. Matter a fact, elvislovedthebraves got my PM on my other name.

What I was saying is, if you're IP banned you can't even look at the topics index only the forum index. Not only that but I don't think you're allowed to see the user list either. If you register an account and ask for permission to post and still get rejected, you can still lurk. The way Patio has it set up now, he's forcing people to register just to lurk but we can still PM.
 
I PM'd every poster from Z to U. That's good for almost 30 posters that I haven't PM'd yet and are accepting PM's. Let's see if any of them sign up. Break this up between posters and I think we could easily PM 300+ posters.
 
I can't PM anyone. I can see the topics listed but if I click on a topic it says something like 'my ability to read posts has been revoked' oddly I can reply to PM's but I can't send a pm outright first

TO PM someone in that state usually you have to logout then click their name and log in. I'm IP banned so I can't do dick.

You still can. Just message them while looking at another board where you aren't banned (type their name).

Yup. I pay money to the michigan site so I have to go there. Its the best michigan site around.
