Don't know why they are rushing Joey T back. A longer rehab assignment would have been better. There are other options including some already on the 40-man. Eury for one.

For the longer-run it makes sense to have someone with a bit of power like Joey T on the bench.

It is a bit curious. Not that I didn't want EYJr gone from the Atlanta Braves—he was an essentially useless player on the roster, rendered even more useless by the presence of Cunningham and Fredi's ham-fisted absence of cunning. Still, it would seemingly make more sense, in terms of skill-set, to replace one turd in left-field with another Terd.

I would imagine there is a 0% chance Gomes is cut when KJ gets back. He is still hitting LHers well (the reason he was signed), and should form a pretty decent platoon in LF with KJ.
