Thought this might be fun. I'll start.

The title of Billy Idol's album and song Rebel Yell came from a party he attended where everyone was drinking Rebel Yell bourbon. The bourbon was named after the battle cry of Confederate soldiers. Something that sounded not unlike "yeehaws" you might hear in a western.

So next time you listen to Rebel Yell and hear 'with a rebel yell, she cried more, more, more" know that she's yee hawing.
 
"Snozzberry" in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factories is a euphemism for penis according to Roald Dahl.
 
Salisbury Steak is named after its inventor, Dr. James Henry Salisbury. Dr. Salisbury created the dish during the Civil War for Union soldiers as a treatment for diarrhea.
 
I mean I feel like back in that era people invented food dishes for dumb reasons. Kellogg invented Cornflakes, for his patients at his 7th Day Adventists Sanitarium. With the popular theory that both the Cornflake and Graham Crackers were invented because they believe that bland food would quell people's sexual appetite. Or Fanta was invented for because Coke couldn't provide syrup because the US entering WWII
