Ferguson....

He's lying which doesn't surprise me. Many of my friends went to JMU, this block party, and several other block parties there. The crowd got out of control and people were being sent to the hospital bc they were rocked with beer bottles and there was at least one stabbing.

For video proof : http://ireport.cnn.com/docs/DOC-431337

CNN PRODUCER NOTE This iReporter told me, 'This is the annual block party at James Madison University at the end of the year.' He said the crowd swelled to thousands. 'People were throwing beer bottles around in the crowd for no reason. When I started the video, people were aiming their bottles at a group on the porch and trying to hit them. Eventually as you can see, someone on the porch throws a lawn chair into the crowd. The crowd eventually broke several windows on the house and started to knock down the deck. I stayed for about 30 minutes and noticed 3 different people with severe cuts. One person ran past me with holding his eye with blood running down his face. I decided to leave when I beer bottle smashed on the back of someone's neck about 10 feet in front of me. About three hours later the police showed up with tear gas and riot gear. By the time the police showed up, the crowd was almost all gone with less than a thousand people still in the area.' He went on to say, 'Once they shot tear gas, the drunken crowd lit dumpsters on fire and pelted police.'

Yeah, a bunch of college students started stabbing people and breaking windows for no reason. Just like every party every night!

GF knows what happened more than me… who was there.

The truth is, we were warned days ahead of time that police would be there. They were planning to surround the fields with police. That's how they were able to bring in Richmond police and helicopters. Nothing out of the ordinary happened (other than typical drunk college stuff) until the military invasion.

But let the cop(ck) sucking continue.

By the way, police damaged dozens of student property by shooting rubber bullets which shattered car windows, and refused to pay for any of the damage.

And what percentage of the working/lower class in Ferguson are African American? That's the real numbers that matter. The truth is, the majority of African Americans are either working or lower class. The overwhelming majority of crimes in America (and I imagine, all over the world) are committed by the working/lower class.

Do you think 93% of the white people aren't working/lower? We're talking about a crazy arrest rate. Insane if you think about it.

I was there in a field as cops surrounded the area. Nothing was happening until that happened.

That video you posted - I don't know if that was before or after all the cops showed up. I wasn't at that part of the off-campus. All I know is, the reaction from the state was completely unjustified, and the escalation was enormous.

I showed you the video. I have friends that were there at the time. I guess that video wasn't clear enough or was it too grainy and tough to see?

So cool you're friends with people way the **** younger than you. I'm guessing there were some SEALs there too just cause you're so down with them!

Do I have friends 5 years younger than me? Yes, I do.

It's more the being out of college making friends with kids who're in college thing that's creepy.

Yeah, really creepy to have friends 5 years younger. Now you are just reaching after being made to be an absolute fool in yet another thread.

Right cause someone who thinks that police being militarized looks so smart. I'm glad you think I look dumb. I'd be concerned otherwise. Cause you're basically wrong about everything.

You tell us? You've pretty much already diagnosed it all.

I haven't diagnosed anything. I haven't made one finite statement about what happened so far. Cause unlike certain folks on here I don't just jump to radical conclusions when I can avoid them because there was no solid evidence in this case that's been presented. Just various eyewitness accounts.

Though to add. I think it's becoming clearer that the officer fired his weapon at Brown while Brown was running away from him. Whether they hit or not is up for debate.

My bad then. Guess I mixed you up with those who have character-assassinated a police officer who they don't know when they weren't there and have no solid evidence of what exactly happened yet.

Seems like you confusing my disdain for militarized police with something entirely different.

I'm in agreement for the most part about the way the police have handled the protests. Not to mention the freedom of the press has repeatedly been **** on.

And while I agree with jpx and others that there are systemic issues are at play, I think it's dangerous for people to jump to conclusions (on both sides) the way they're being jumped to in this thread.
