We have always been behind the 8 ball. It is very hard to overcome that. People like our family have but many more failed because the odds were against them. Granted some white trailer trash and Honey Boo Boos do the same, but if we have opportunities on an equal basis we will always be picked last unless it is a sport.

Oh my God.

You have to have connections to even be seen. I was in the top 25 in my class and I didn't receive this and this was in the early 80's. I had to pay full ride. In saying that I had to do the Palin route of going to 8 schools to receive my two degrees because of work and playing prof sports and no I did not receive a scholarship.

The only thing you post in this whole thread I agree with. He speaks the truth, but you are blind on the whole history or our tainted race. We try but unfortunately there are those who wants to keep us down and it is mostly Democrats because they need the vote and dumb black people to do it.

No the lottery of being lucky, hardworking and basically wanting it. But years and years of working hard and not showing anything taxes you. Dad said that black men in the 60's had only two views on life, go to war and hopefully you get lucky you live and get a good job when you get out, or have a sponsor or friends to get you into the business. Luckily my dad tried out for the Cubs, didn't make it but he had friends that got him a government job, which he did because he was a student as well.

But some of the less fortunate do not have this chance and they are in this cycle of government assistance because they do not know any better. I have eight family members in jail, some more than 30 years. They get out but do not know how to adjust to life outside and do something to go back into prison because that is all they know. My mom said they are dead to her and most of the family. This is what we are facing. If you only know prison then that is your life. Thankfully they didn't hurt anyone in the process to be sent back and they are happy. Shawshank Redemption is a good movie about people not adjusting to life outside of prison.

I believe that white trash and whiggers are treated the same way. White Meth heads walking into a store will be as carefully watched as black kids are that come into a store with Thier pants falling off Thier ass. An uneducated white person who can't speak coherent English won't have a shot for a decent job either. White males with tricked out cars that have tinted windows and bass music blasting out of Thier car will be pulled over just as many times as a black would in the same scenario. Whites with criminal records won't get good jobs either.



I'm the most racist person on this board but racism isn't about skin color. I can care less if someone is white or black. There are just as much ****ty, uneducated whites as they are ****ty, uneducated blacks. To blame something on a skin color is a joke.

An intelligent well spoken black has as many opportunities as a well spoken white does. At the same time an uneducated white has as many ****ty opportunities as a black in the same position has.

It's about character not color. This kid jumped a cop and went for his gun. That was a dumb thing to do. If the kid was white he'd be dead too.

well, i guess i should say some cause some people (even in this thread) are more worried about a quick trip gas station

that i am having debates in the real world and internet about the very simple task of not having a police force that kills fellow citizens, doesn't bully citizens from practicing their rights and isn't detaining journalists for doing their constitutional rights as well is absurd to me. It makes it even ****ing crazier that it is usually with people that say they hate "tyranny" and their rights being taken away.

this was real tyranny the other day

not the bull**** the tea party militia (that never came to help their fellow Americans btw) that screams when they are ranting about lunch programs that are better for childrens health or a more energy efficient bulb being your only choice at the store.

You are justifying the rioting because of the unfortunate death of this young man. That should not be done. The group of people who are taking advantage of the turmoil down there should be disbanded. End of story.

I didn't mention my father once in this thread.

There is nothing racist in what I am saying. I am attacking character flaws in a subset of the population. I look around where I work and ask myself why these black people and not others. Odd that nobody can answer that question. Why has society not held them back?
