With our pre-break collapse, should we just take it even slower with him? Is his injury one that could get worse by coming back early?

I hope no Bob Horner 2.0.

I could imagine the career he could have had if he didn't break his brittle wrist.

Take your time, big Fred. It's also time we start seeing what we have with Terdoslavich by playing him everyday. If it's nothing, like I suspect, then we can get rid of him in the offseason.

To be honest there isn't a reason to bring him back at all this season.

You shouldn' start off an opinion with the phrase "to be honest". Honesty has go nothing to do with it.

Freddie should start playing again when he's healed, not before.

Just saw Bowman's response to a question on twitter and it doesn't sound too promising as far as getting him back soon..

Poster: "been away can't find an updated article, Freddie coming back soon?"

Bowman: "they're still hopeful he'll return by the end of this month, but he hasn't started a rehab stint and won't be rushed back"

really no sense in "rushing" anyone back, ever. Bad word choice.

Seems pretty straightforward to me; after his wrist is healed and he can hit without pain you "bring him back". That would mean a few rehab games., then MLB if no setbacks. If it doesn't get to that point until the season is over, no big deal, we suck anyhow.

#Braves Freeman might not be back before by 1st week of Aug., John Hart told AJC's Schultz. Wrist injury isn't healing as they hoped.

Terdo sucks. That's been established already...hence his new name of "Quad A"

Is this going to be another instance where he actually has some sort of fracture, but our fantastic medical staff hasn't caught it?

Honest to God, is there a worse medical staff in sport? Nobody can read an X-ray, Dr. Andrews forgot how to tie a knot, and the ophthalmologist graduated from the DeVry School of Acupuncture, Chiropractic and Dentistry in LaPaz, Bolivia, where he learned to jab needles into dudes in random places while walking on their backs and extracting teeth when the mood strikes.

This accounts for the crackerjack results we've seen with Upton, Uggla, McCann, and Freeman. Always adds a little excitement to the game when half the players bail out on a decent curveball.

Perhaps a new staff will tell us Fredi's actually been functioning at a remarkably high level considering the grapefruit sized brain tumor he's had to think around and that an extraction and preventative lobotomy will fix him right up.

I'm not sure why we need to see if he can play or not. He hits every other year and there is just no place, other than the groundskeeper's closet, to hide his glove. Even then you're concerned he'll find it and want to play the field.

He looks like a Houston player to me. They like carrying 7-8 DHs. Have they got an OF we might want that would match up?

To be honest, some of your comments here make one suspect the individual making them could have many of the earmarks of an asshole.

I suspect he has one of two things going on. He's either develop AVN in one of his carpal bones that will ultimately have to be removed, or he has scapholunate disjunction where the ligament between the scaphoid and lunate bones will need to be fixed.

If this was just a strain of some tendons or a sprain of some ligaments, the PRP treatments should have helped more.
