You said that "Don't most MLS stadiums hold much more than NBA?" which if that waas then more teams would be at a lower number? And how would you judge if a tema was playing a stadium too big was their home attendence?

In regards to MLS attendance being slightly down this year (less than 1%)....I don't know if New York is representative of the entire league, but its attendance tends to increase as the season progresses. The season begins and it's like no one knows it has started. Then mid-summer through the fall attendance picks up. If other teams follow a similar pattern, attendance should look fine by season's end.

Where they have a long way to go is drawing in TV viewers. Last Friday night, the NY Liberty were on MSG while the Red Bulls were on MSG+. That says a lot. I do think the long term viability of the league is favorable, but there is still a ton of progress to be made.
 
Shame the US couldn't have snuck a win past the Krauts, they could be playing France today :/ would have been amaing to have a US game on the 4th of July. Though France would have ran us through.
 
While I wish the US was still in I hope that Germany or France makes the final because there's something awesome about watching a great goalie for me. Neuer's positioning and body language is amazing. Joe Hart doesn't make that save from Valbuena.

Germany has not looked impressive aside from some heroics by Hummels. Hummels, Muller and Neuer are the only people who've stood out for Germany for me today. France has looked much better.
 
Still after the full completion of the match Neuer, Hummels and Muller were the best on the German side. Germany looked much more American than they would have liked is my guess.
 
I really wish Radamel Falcao was playing for Columbia so they'd rip Brazil's tits. I don't know if James Rodriguez can beat the Brazilians and the refs on his own

Shame Falcao isn't playing, already is a great matchup.

But beating Brasil in Brasil.....I doubt it.

I agree. But hopefully James Rodriguez has the game of his life and nets a few. He's been one of the best player of the tournament but doesn't get the recognition that Messi has rightfully gotten or Neymar has gotten not as deservingly.
