FIFA World Cup 2014

Ghana defiant. They can still ruin USA world cup - if not head-to-head then they will do it through their other results.
 
USA held Ghana scoreless for 82 minutes... Germany who has more world class players on defense has already allowed 2 goals.
 
Ghana players have so much talent with stopping long passes. They holdup well and seem to have good execution with crosses.
 
And that German goal was built upon great possession play, passing and awareness from B. Schweinsteiger. As well the goal, a corner by sub Schweinsteiger and the finish by sub Klose. Must be nice to have that kind of depth.
 
Good result for Ronaldo and Portugal - who now feel if they get 3 points from US would just need a draw against Ghana in finale to get into the quarters. Tomorrow is big. No one is safe and everyone will be hoping the US team fails for their own hopes.
 
Fwiw, #1 in Group G meets a very weak #2 in Group H in the Quarterfinals, Russia, Algeria, or South Korea.
 
Bosnia should dispatch of Nigeria. Could be another wide open game. And shouldn't be a snoozer like S.Korea / Russia was.

Tomorrow though.. buckle in. Netherlands/Chile, Croatia/Mexico, US/Portugal.

I'm sad that I have to work tomorrow. but I've harnessed a deal to be out for the US/Portugal match. All 3 of those games should be awesome.

US wins tomorrow and thne they're a draw and win the group. Tomorrows game is gonna be massive.

US looks pretty good after this match. They have to feel pretty confident about the portugal game. I'm really curious about the lineup. I think we may see a differnet one if they intend to just shut Ronaldo out of the game.
 
Sooo, that was bad for us right? We should still be good if we beat Portugal, but what about other results? Anyone want to break it down for me? :) lol
