Bradley is the best or the second best outfield player the US has (between him and Dempsey) you can't bench him, you just have to hope he plays better. I'm not sure what's going on with him. Maybe it's the pressure of being considered the most important player. Maybe it's just 2 bad games and he'll get out of it. I have no clue but something has to give with him. I would trot out the same lineup vs Germany. Zusi needs to be a bit better, but that type of team is our best shot. ONly question is Zusi or Davis? I may be wrong but I'm gonna guess one of Bedoya or Zusi likely gets the next match off because of fatigue. US has a short week after the Rainforest game, pretty ****ty draw. Gonna be a real gutcheck game against Germany, any points from that match is an epic victory from the US standpoint.

True. Though honestly none of their starters likely helped them today except maybe Coentrao since the US had basically free reign down the right flank. US was without ALtidore so that counters a few of portugal's losses. Ronaldo being hurt obviously was the biggest blow to them. Pepe being out may have helped them as their CBs played very well, Pepe may have conceded a bunch of dumb fouls or gotten out of position. Dude is talented but dumb as ****.

Contraeo is a big loss for them. It's crazy how terrible they are outside of Ronaldo, Jmountiho, and Contreao.

Well that's how they've been built and for that reason they're feast and famine. They need an out and out striker. Ronaldo for them basically plays the same role Dempsey does for the US and he needs someone who can play in front of him for hold up and to make runs.
 
Niners for years soccer was inaccessible to many in this country.

Now that NBC has Epl Package you can literally watch world class soccer all the time in season.

Fox soccer channel was ok but it was a premium channel. Pretty soon someone will purchase liga rights.

If world class soccer was as accessible on tv like nfl and NBA are then it'd be probably the #2 sport and it will be.

Ratings are better than ever. Usa game averaged higher than any jets regular season game in NY.

Soccer has been booming in this country since 2006. MLS has nearly doubled their league. Weny from no EPL games to almost all on basic cable.
 
If soccer were available on basic cable during the prime Thierry Henry years in Arsenal, Manchester United wouldn't have the biggest bandwagon in the USA.. His prime years he was basically the Michael Jordan and Roger Federer of soccer. Dominance.

Easy there pal. Henry was good but he wasn't that good. He's not Messi, Ronaldo, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho,, etc.
 
So how exactly can the USA not advance? The second tiebreaker after points is goal differential right?

I don't see either Ghana/Portugal getting blown out in that game. I guess we are rooting for a Portugal win though right?
