FINALLY! The schedule turns in Braves' favor.

The rest of this month and nearly all of July presents itself as a schedule the Braves need to and should take advantage of.

Between now and July 28 (38 games), the Braves have 10 games with the Phillies;
Seven games with the Mets;
three home games with Arizona;
four home games with the Padres;
three at Houston (danger)
three at Wrigley
four HOME games with the Marlins
four at Washington this weekend
(At the end of this stretch is an 11-game homestand: 3 Phillies; 4 Marlins; 4 Padres).

I need them to go at least 24-14 for this stretch.

With the homestand ahead of them, they are 17-11 for this stretch, with the winning streak square in the middle of it. The stretch actually is 39 games, as I forgot to account for the DH in Philly.

I was counting the 'easy' stretch starting with the Houston series, and we've gone 14-6 in it, with 11 games to go. Hoping for a 21-10 overall.

We finished the 31 game stretch at 20-11, which looks good except that it started 11-1.

Now we start a rough stretch where 22 of the next 25 opponents are above .500, including 19 straight.

We did ok considering the loss of Gattis for much of that stretch. The better performances by BJ and especially CJ helped quite a bit.
