Pretty sure there's still fight, but even with that if everything went right a quick playoff exit would be the best result - maybe even if AA recklessly tries to land a Bryant/Marte type to "replace" Acuna's production the rest of the way. To get past the first round of the playoffs this team probably needed an addition like that WITH Acuna.
 
I’m gonna take the silver lining approach and assume this keeps us from committing any significant resources to a team whose ceiling was a first-round exit before losing RAJ. It’s been real, it’s been fun, but it hasn’t been real fun. Get ‘em next year.

I think the team will continue to play hard and we may finish respectability but serious contention regardless of what we could realistically add is out of the question. I still feel optimistic about the team’s future though.
 
I think they will be fight as long as they can, but fall short before too long. They will try and stay in contention, but there isn’t any help coming via a trade and eventually will come undone.
 
And he will win a ring with whoever he goes to and become the 6th member of the 2013 braves to leave the team and win a ring.

I feel vindicated like everyone saying AA was gonna be a lameduck GM at the deadline, then quietly made some shrewd moves without breaking the bank to help move us into contention.

Bringing back D'Arnaud and Ynoa is basically like two big trades in August.
