First World Problems

The open parking spot right next to the sports bar I went to this morning to watch the Arsenal game was a handicap spot... so I had to drive two more blocks to park and then walk.

It's difficult for me to lay down and use my Macbook, while having a pillow under my chin and supporting my chest because my body weight and gravity force my throat to almost choke myself from the pillow.

Without the pillow my back will ache from trying to lean upwards on my elbows.

It's below freezing in the "summer" up here in New Hampshire. Can't believe that I have to wake up slightly early just to make sure that my car has no frost on it and other ****.

You sound like a fat liberal. :suprise:

While going to a big job interview today, I locked myself out of my car. After having a spectacular interview I walked about 15 miles to my brother's job to get his house key to walk back home and get my car spare.

I get home and the spare key is missing. Turns out my brother had it on his Keychain the entire time.

This has been getting a lot of press recently:

Peter Cohen, writing for iMore:

Let me say at the outset that I’m pretty ambivalent about U2 myself. They’ve never been one of those bands that I’ve absolutely had to have the latest album from. In fact, Songs of Innocence is the only U2 record I have in my iTunes library.

But the inordinate amount of actual anger directed at Apple and U2 over this is so disproportional to the actual event, I’ve started to wonder about the mental state of some of those complaining. It’s really been off the charts.

If you fall into that camp, let me speak very plainly: I have no sympathy for you. I have trouble thinking of a more self-indulgent, “first world problem” than saying “I hate this free new album I’ve been given.”

Nailed it.

Apple gave everyone a free Download of the unreleased U2 album and people bitch about it. Takes one second to delete the thing.,

I can't find a place in SC to buy some Carolina Reaper peppers or hot sauce while there next week hanging out in Charleston and then going to Columbia to see Jack White perform

They are produced in Rock Hill/Fort Mill which is right outside of Columbia.

I just purchased Criterion's dvd copy of The Night Porter about six months ago, and now they're releasing a sleek new blu-ray transfer. (Ditto Time Bandits, though I bought that much longer ago.)

Indecisive about going to the gym right now. I carb-loaded, but then I have to be to work at 6am. But the dilemma is if it rains I won't have to come in (tennis is outdoors).
