I think it’s probably because his proper mechanics are making his spurs uncomfortable. Dude’s hurt.

Probably hoping for a rebound w/o medical intervention is too much to ask. My guess is given his mound meltdowns and physical issues he ends up like Matt Wisler a footnote in Braves history.

This seems to be the most likely reason. Hopefully the velocity we saw means the pain is gone and he just needs to fix whatever bad habits he picked up while the pain was there to make the SL effective again.

Did someone really just compare Folty to Wisler?

Matt Wisler? The guy who pitched a total of 367 innings and produced a whopping 0.9 WAR?
 
I saw old friend Matt Wisler walk in the winning run against Pittsburgh in that wild 11-10 game in extra innings yesterday. The Padres were up three in the 9th and extras and blew both leads in the loss.
 
I'm in the injury has altered my mechanics group. I hope he figures it out. I don't care if he needs to be out until roster expansion. We need him if we are going to be successful in the playoffs.
