France attack...

So Frances' prime minister says they are at war with terrorism.

Wait a second, I thought the experts on this board said there was no such thing?

The Moroccan-born mayor of Rotterdam has said Muslim immigrants who do not appreciate the way of life in Western civilisations can 'f*** off'.

Ahmed Aboutaleb, who arrived in the Netherlands aged 15, spoke out in the wake of the Charlie Hebdo attack in Paris last week.

Appearing on live television just hours after the shootings, Mayor Aboutaleb said Muslims who 'do not like freedom can pack your bags and leave'.

Lol nice

You really don't understand the game of politics do you?

I don't care about the game of politics. What I do care about is that there is a growing threat out there and if we don't address it with a coordinated and unified effort it will spiral out of control to the point where we all be in real danger.

You're not scared, though

Are you talking about the proliferation of weapons in the hands of unsteady citizens ??

In our country
There have been more random shooting deaths in movie theaters and schools than attributable Radical Islamic-Terrorism

Being scared and aware are two completely different things. But again, keep on saying irrelevant stuff because its clear that this "minor" problem that you have stressed in the past is becoming more and more of a global issue. I know, we should just ignore them and hope they go away.

These are two completely different issues and to muddle them together doesn't do either of them justice.

One growing threat is an abstraction and the other is an everyday problem.
Here at home,

I'm sorry but I don't share your drummed up fear of radicals a world away.
Was it you earlier today that asked if we are safer ??

That was me.

You made a shot at Bush earlier and I asked if the world was a safer place after Obama took office.

That's just what 57 does thethe. Runs the same play all the time.

Thats what everyone is doing right now. The problem that they are finally seeing is that this is a huge global issue. Its been brewing for ages and now that radicals tactics are catching up to the modern age of warfare and their adept ability to utilize technology its going to start showing up everywhere. Then all these naysayers will realize that this philosophy of closing their eyes and ignoring it was about the dumbest thing that anyone has said since the dawn of time.

These radicals are now everyones problem. Nations across the world are finally catching on.

I have no idea.

I didn't take a shot at Bush -- I think he should be in prison for violation of Geneva Convention violations. And have not been bashfull about that for over ten years in these forums..
We signed the treaty --- that is not "hating" Bush. I don't know what that means

Let me ask you -- do you ee a separate set of rules for us and then the rest ?
Did we not invade - destroy then occupy an Islamic country for no reason ?

In the face of the decade following 9/11 (or for that matter how we viewed Islamic oil producing countries since WWI ) do you not see a touch of irony in your drummed up view of Islam?

You attack a hornets nest - you are going to get stung

No, we didn't.

I am more concerned for children being shot at school than I am an attack from Islamo-Facists or whatever the faux term de jour

OSU ran that counter play all night last night. They didn't get distracted.

Again, has nothing to do with this thread. Start another one if you'd like or just don't post in this one if you are not concerned with the threat of Islamic radicals.
