Freddie to third base??

The goal should be to have as many players out of position as possible. Adams to RF. Markakis to 1B. Freddie to 3b. Profit.

What does it matter? The braves aren't gonna be a playoff team this year, so why not try it? Worst case is FF sucks there and we move him back to 1b

He was a 3B in high school I think but I doubt he has the range to play over there unless it's an emergency.

This is actually rationale. Why not find out? Give Adams a full year and if freeman can't play third you trade Adams tgis offseason.

The worst case scenario is that the Braves most valued player gets hurt trying to play 3b.

Not that big of a deal I guess.

You only make this move for the lol's. Maybe last game of the year. Let's move Incierte to catcher, Adams to short, Markakis to 2nd just for game 162.

The Braves have spent years getting the worst production imaginable from 3b, and now this idea occurs to them? It has to be leverage to jack up the price on Adams.

He got hurt hitting this time. We should use him strictly as a defensive replacement to limit injury potential

Have to wonder...would they have kept him at 3rd if Chipper wasn't there. The same thing they are doing with Austin Riley in reverse.

What a dumb idea. Not only is his range already bad for a 1b, but he also throws LH. Has there even been a LH 3b since Mattingly?

I guess if by some miracle he's ok defensively then his value would increase tremendously as an elite hitting third basemen.

FrEddie throws with his right hand.
