I certainly would have never thought of moving your all star 1st baseman, but it was reported that the Braves are considering it.

This is actually rationale. Why not find out? Give Adams a full year and if freeman can't play third you trade Adams tgis offseason.

He got hurt hitting this time. We should use him strictly as a defensive replacement to limit injury potential

What a dumb idea. Not only is his range already bad for a 1b, but he also throws LH. Has there even been a LH 3b since Mattingly?

I guess if by some miracle he's ok defensively then his value would increase tremendously as an elite hitting third basemen.
