Freeman tests positive

He’s having symptoms as well..which means a longer stint away from the team..wish him a speedy recovery.
It wouldn’t be an Atlanta Team without one of our best players testing positive.gotta keep the sports curse going.
Get well soon Freddie!

So one out of four guys show symptoms and Freddie doesn’t seem to be in danger, just that he feels like crap and is running a fever.

I don’t really know how to deal with COVID, besides being careful and letting this run it’s course. We have flu shots and people still get the flu, so a vaccine will help...but not cure. I think if you are high risk you should definitely take extra precautions no doubt.

We can’t just sit in our house for two years....because it will still be there. It isn’t going away, but there does seem to be less severe cases in general. I think herd immunity is probably the only way to beat this. I just don’t see another way.

Agreed, just cancel the season and get it over with. The other sports should follow suit. There is nothing to be gained from fanless events

Covid isnt going away anytime soon. So when do you think we should play sports again, never?

Whenever there is a workable vaccine and we can have full stadiums again. I can honestly say I have never seen so many adults act so childish over things that in the big picture mean absolutely nothing. I like to be entertained too but it is not going to kill me if the Braves don't play this year. All this fuss over 60 games, really?

What's the procedure with positive tests? Will they be tested daily till they're negative and be reinstated?

I know to be reinstated they have to test negative twice in a 24 hour period. But I’m going to assume with someone like Freeman, they won’t bother testing him again until his symptoms go away.
