Would be hard to pass that up. If I was Houston I would probably go for it. If they add a legit #2 starter via free agency and some bullpen pieces they would be stout for years to come.
Freeman and Miller for thier entire farm?

Here is an article about the Fredi interview this morning
this is a bit silly but figured I would post just for the H*** of it.

“I cannot make it any more clear,’’ Coppolella said, “we are not trading Freddie Freeman. We are not. I’d give my right arm before we trade Freddie Freeman. It is not happening.’’
Coppy is pretty fired up in this interview. Finally says something definitive on Freeman. I'm convinced he won't be traded this offseason.

I would give his statement more merit if he wasn't left-handed.
I hope Coppy's got the stomach for this. If he's doing his job right he should not care what fans think. In the short run fans are always in a panic.
After reading that interview with Coppy, I'm concerned. 2 things: 1. He's way too defensive in responding to critics. 2. Either he doesn't get it or he thinks the fans are too dense to figure ish out. But saying things like he didn't trade Maybin at the trade deadline because the Braves are not "tanking" or that trading for Aybar proves the Braves are not "tanking"....man, just own it, bro. But I hope he is just spinning it for PR sake. If not, and he believes what he is saying, we are in deep trouble.
