Rome just tweeted a lineup without Franklin in it. Wonder if it's just a day off or if he's going to Double A.

Or if AA traded him for a pointless middle reliever.

He traded him for Castellanos straight-up. The Reds thought he was going to opt out this winter, but he sent AA a text and said that if the Braves traded for him that he not only would stay, but that he'd take a pay cut so they can re-sign Freeman.
 
Newk closing last night is at least a little interesting and is a situation that deserves paying attention to going forward.
